twenty-one/ Buy yourself a canal barge, perhaps? It’s so cosy inside! (It’s the second search result on this page, but was loading independently for me.)
Around the grounds
It’s been a fairly quiet week over here, but I can report that June can now say “up”, “happy” and “apple”, mostly by saying the same sort of sound. It’s an “Uahhppp” kind of thing and is applied where up, happy and/or apple might normally be. Quite the baby shorthand, non?! She’s also very much into “more”, “thank you” and “all done”, mispronounced slightly due to baby type reasons. We’ve also been learning about “stop” and “go” when we are playing together, and she’s very pleased to have the power to STOP me from doing things. She likes to scowl, rather than stay “stop” but it gets the message across perfectly. Then she smiles when I am allowed to “go” again. Non-verbal comms for the win! Further, she is very much into Incy Wincy Spider, which I think is a very good thing.
What TV have you been enjoying?
I have been watching ridiculous amounts of Bondi Rescue on the 7Plus free streaming service. I’ve spoken about this before, but there is something very life-affirming about the good deeds and life-saving this show depicts. It’s important to remember that so many people are motivated to help others, during these tough times, I feel.
Silly joke of the week
What do you call a pair of bananas?
Slippers!
Hope this week is a good one for you, dear reader. May your bed always be the exact right level of cosiness for you!

If you fancy, buy me a coffee. —>

those food photos are great, especially the nanna ones, the one of the outdoor restaurant feeding the workers really hit home for me. I am so privileged. And such a contrast when the next link took to me to the eaglehawk neck cabins....
